In Momoyoga, we offer an integrated payment option: Online Payments via Stripe Connect. However, we also offer the option to integrate with some custom payment providers that you might use outside of Momoyoga. We want to give you the option to use Momoyoga without losing your existing workflow.
Available custom payment integrations in Momoyoga:
- Stripe (using your own Stripe account)
- Mollie
- PayPal
Offering the option to use these custom payment integrations, means we need to keep up with updates and security on our end. The custom integrations require maintenance, technical resources and customer support. Therefore, an additional fee is applied for using one of these custom payment integrations.
* Note that these integrations are only available for the Standard and Plus plan.
Additional fee for custom payment integration
Monthly
If you have chosen a monthly payment for your Momoyoga account, there will be an additional fee of $15 if you use a custom payment integration.
Annual
If you have chosen to be billed annually for your Momoyoga account, you receive the 20% discount on the total amount. This makes $12 per month for the additional fee if you use a custom payment integration.
The fee will be added to your monthly or annual invoice.
Alternative option: Online Payments via Stripe Connect
Alternatively, you can choose to switch to our integrated payment option: Online Payments via Stripe Connect. Doing so, you prevent being charged the additional fee.

Switching to Online Payments via Stripe Connect
You can easily switch from your custom payment integration to Momoyoga's Online Payments via Stripe Connect.
- Click Settings
- Go to Payments and Payouts
- Select Online payments
- Click Complete account setup
Follow the steps on the screen.
Considerations when using recurring memberships
If you have active, recurring memberships at the time of switching to our integrated payment solution, the yogis' payment details will need to be updated after you've switched. For privacy and security reasons, their payment details can and may not be transferred from the custom payment integration to our integrated payment solution.
Yogis can update their payment details, simply by:
- Logging into Momoyoga
- Clicking their name
- Clicking Edit payment details
- Updating the payment details
- Clicking Confirm
Studios can also do this, by:
- Navigating to the yogi profile
- Clicking Edit
- Clicking Edit payment details (next to edit yogi profile)
- Updating the payment details
- Clicking Confirm
Please make sure that the payment details are updated before the next iteration of the recurring membership. Otherwise, no direct debit can take place and the payment will fail. Not to worry, a yogi will receive an automatic email with a payment link when a direct debit fails. This way, they will still be requested to easily pay for their membership. As a studio, you are also able to send a payment reminder email with a payment link to the yogi.
After following these steps, all recurring payments with direct debits will be automatically processed by Momoyoga's Online Payment Feature.
