With Momoyoga, your yogis can easily pay online for your classes and/or videos. You can accept online payments through a variety of payment methods, making it safe and easy for your yogis to pay you through their payment method of choice.

To keep up with our growth and to meet the needs of our customers, we've recently released Momoyoga’s new, enhanced online payment feature. ✨
Follow the instructions below to upgrade from our legacy payment feature. (You'll know you are using our legacy feature if you see "Online payments (with Stripe)" on your Payment settings page.)
📣Action Required: Any yogis with active, recurring memberships will need to re-enter their payment details.
To upgrade your online payments:
- Login to Momoyoga
- Go to More
- Click on Payment settings
- Select Online payments
- Click on Complete account set up
- Here you will be redirected to connect.stripe.com where you will fill out the information about your business
- Once your account has been set up, you will be redirected back to Momoyoga
Once you have upgraded your online payments, the legacy "Online payments (with Stripe)" and "Online payments (with Mollie)" will no longer be shown.
You are now ready to use this new feature. 🎉
📣Special considerations for recurring memberships
If you have active, recurring memberships at the time of upgrade, the yogi's payment details will need to be updated after the upgrade is done. This information could not be transferred in the process due to the privacy agreement with Stripe.
Yogis can do this, simply by:
- Logging into Momoyoga
- Clicking their name
- Clicking Edit payment details
- Updating the payment details
- Clicking Confirm
Studios can also do this, by:
- Navigating to the yogi profile
- Clicking Manage account
- Clicking Edit payment details
- Updating the payment details
- Clicking Confirm
- Clicking Submit
Please note that you make sure that the payment details are updated before the next iteration of the recurring membership. Otherwise, no direct debit can take place and the payment will fail. What can I do if a payment fails?
After following these steps, all recurring payments with direct debits will be linked to the newly enhanced payment system in Momoyoga.
Special considerations and info that's good to know
- If you are upgrading from our legacy feature, "Online payments (with Stripe)" and "Online payments (with Mollie)" will no longer be shown.
- In the enhanced payment feature, there is a "hold" of 7 days on the payments, so if a yogi purchases something on 1 January, it won't be paid out until the next weekly payout after 8 January. This is to cover any disputes made by yogis.
- The first payout can take up to +1 week. For security reasons and to prevent fraudulent activities on our platform.”
