Momoyoga can send a variety of automated emails. For example, notifications to the yoga studio, or a message on a yogi's birthday. You can edit every email to your liking*.
*When you choose to use our Free plan, you are not able to use our automated email feature.
Automatic emails to yogis
• Yogi welcome email
This email can be sent a few different ways: when creating a yogi and selecting the 'Send welcome email with password' option, when editing a yogi and selecting the 'Send new welcome email' option, and when a yogi signs up at a studio.
• Order confirmation email
This email is sent as soon as an order is completed without being paid through Momoyoga; for example, if you allow payments at the studio (cash or card) or bank transfer. This email can't be disabled.
• Payment reminder email
This email is sent when an admin selects the 'Send payment reminder' option when editing an order.
• Birthday email (optional)
This email will automatically be sent on the yogi's birthday, if they have it enabled on the emails settings page.
• Upcoming class reminder email (optional)
This email will automatically be sent a day before the class starts. The email will be sent at 7:00 AM. Yogis that book the class after this time will not receive this reminder email.
• Class cancellation email (optional)
When cancelling a class, you can directly send an email to all yogis who have booked the class. You can edit this email when cancelling the class.
• Product expiry reminder email (optional)
This email is sent on the day of expiration, if the setting 'Remind yogi automatically' has been enabled on the product.The email contains a link to buy the product again.
• Waitlist email
This email is sent every time a yogi is moved from the waitlist to the class. This can either be from a yogi removing themselves from a class or the admin moving them from the waitlist to the visitors. For this email to work, you need to allow waitlists for your studio. • Booking confirmation email (optional)
This email is sent when a yogi books a class successfully, if the studios has it enabled on the emails settings page. When a studio adds the yogi to a class, they will have the option to send the booking confirmation email.
• Payment confirmation email
This email is sent when the yogi pays an order immediately through PayPal, Stripe, or Mollie. There is no setting to disable this email.
• Online class information email (optional)
By default, this email is sent 35 minutes before the online class starts. It can be disabled by unchecking the 'Send automatic email before class starts' box when editing a class that has 'This is an online class' setting.The class information regarding the online location and required access information is published in the class description. • Pay what you want email
If you have chosen the pay what you want feature, this email is sent 15 minutes before the end of a class. In this email the yogis will receive a payment link. This email can't be disabled. Read more about creating pay want you want-based classes.
• Pay what you want confirmation email
If you have chosen the pay what you want feature, the second email is sent after a yogi makes a donation to the studio. This email can't be disabled.
Edit automatic emails to yogis
You can edit every email to your liking. To change the default text of automated messages:
- Go to Settings
- Click Email
- Click on Edit next to the email you wish to modify
- Edit the message and subject line of the email
- Click Submit
It is important that the variables (or codes), described below the text area when editing the email, are added to the email. For example, in the email sent to yogis, the code {member-firstname} is replaced by the first name of the yogi. "Dear {member-firstname}” becomes "Dear John".
Notification emails to admin
Momoyoga sends the following emails to you, when:- A new yogi registers with your yoga studio (optional)
- A yogi books a class (optional)
- A yogi cancels a booking (optional)
