How can I offer gift cards to my yogis?

With Momoyoga, you can allow yogis to purchase a gift card for their friends or family by following the instructions below.

Creating your gift card

Utilize a program like Canva to create a custom image for your gift card, or you can download a copy of our design at the bottom of this page and add your studio's information to it using Canva.

On the gift card, include your studio's name, the type of package, and the expiration date.

Create a membership that your yogis can purchase as a gift for another

This is the membership that your yogis will purchase on behalf of another, therefore, it's important to note that you will need to make this pass available for yogis to buy online.

1. Go to Pricing
2. Click Add new membership
3. Enter fields below (example entries):
   Name ('1 Month of Yoga *Gift card for Purchase*')
   Price in $ (40)
   TAX (21)
   Valid for (1 month)
4. Check the box next to Yogis can buy this membership online
5. Click Submit

Create a membership that you will assign to the gift recipient

This is the membership that you will assign to the gift recipient, therefore, it's important to note that you do not make this pass available for yogis to buy online.

1. Go to Pricing
2. Click Add new membership
3. Enter fields below (example entries):
   Name ('1 Month of Yoga' *Gift card*)
   Price in $ (0)
   TAX (0)
   Valid for (1 month)
4. Uncheck the box next to Yogis can buy this membership online
5. Click Submit

Assigning the new product to your classes

If, for your classes, you have Yogis can book this class with a product selected, you can skip this section.

If you have Yogis can book this class with selected products selected and you have created a new membership for your gift card recipients, you will need to assign this new product to your upcoming classes by following the instructions below: 

1. Go to Classes
2. Click on the class you would like to edit
3. Click on Edit class
4. Select Yogis can only book this class with selected products and select the class passes or memberships that have been created for this type of class
5. Choose if you want to update Just this class or This class and following classes
6. Click Submit

After your gift card has been purchased

Once someone has purchased your gift card, send them an email with the gift card and your instructions for how to claim it. See example below. It is advised to include the 4 paragraphs after the image in your email so your yogis know what they need from you and what to communicate to the gift recipient.

Hello {gift-giver},

Thank you for purchasing a '1 Month of Unlimited Yoga with Yoga Studio Namaste' for your friend or loved one!

In order for me to know which account to add the membership to, I will need the gift recipient's first and last name. Please reply back to this email with the recipient’s first and last name. Once they have signed up for Momoyoga, I will add this membership to their account.

When you send the e-gift card to your friend or loved one, please include these instructions so they know how to register for my studio.

To claim your gift card, please register at Yoga Studio Namaste (www.momoyoga.com/youryogastudio/register). Once you’ve registered, please email the studio (email@youryogastudio.com) saying you received a gift card from me so the pass can be added to your account.

Thank you again for your purchase and for helping us spread the gift of yoga.

Assigning the membership to the gift recipient

Once your yogi has purchased the membership on behalf of another person, they will need to email the studio and submit the name associated with the yogi they gifted the membership to. Once that yogi registers for Momoyoga with your studio, you will assign the gifted membership to that yogi. 

To assign a product to a yogi:

1. Go to Yogis and search for the yogi
2. Click on the yogi's profile
3. Click Add membership or class pass
4. Click on the product you would like to add
