Event ticket types are the latest upgrade of our fantastic Events feature. ✨
Easier to use and more efficient than ever before, events will now allow you to create a selection of ticket types from which your yogis can choose according to their budget and desires.
From Early Bird to Regular tickets, from a Single Room to an outdoor Yurt, whatever your vision, Momoyoga's event ticket types are there to make it happen.
What will the event look like for yogis?
Your event will look the same as before, beautifully illustrated and highlighted to really stand out from your regular classes.
- If you have created multiple ticket types for this event, your yogis will see the price range for your tickets from lowest to highest (eg: 100€ - 200€), and can select View tickets to access the full list of available ticket types.
- View tickets will take your yogis to a new page presenting your selection of ticket types. If you have chosen to add images and descriptions, they will be visible on this page. If an End date is applicable, this will be shown below the ticket type it applies to.
- When your yogi clicks on Get ticket, they will be taken to the final payment page to finalise their purchase. They can go through the payment flow as per usual, selecting their preferred payment method.

How can I add multiple event ticket types?

- The title of your event
- A description of your event

- The location (in person/online)
- Now you will fill in the Ticket information for your event. You will have 3 choices to choose from:
- Free registration

- Multiple ticket types
- Select Multiple ticket types. The following pop up will appear:
- Click on Add ticket type
- Another Pop-up window will appear, in which can fill out the following details:
- The name of your ticket type
- The price
- The VAT percentage when applicable (if not 0)
- Click on Show more settings to:
- Add an image (optional)
- Add a description unique to this ticket type Please note this is not the event description but the ticket type description
- Add an available quantity (optional)
- Hide ticket type after a set date (for example, in the case of an Early Bird ticket)
- Click on Save
- Don't forget to click on Add Event once you're done with the other settings
Congratulations, you've now added your very first ticket type for this event. 🎉
You can continue this process as many times as you like by clicking on Add ticket type until you are satisfied with your list of ticket types for this event.
You will then have an overview of all available ticket types on the event profile, in the Tickets section:
This overview includes:
- The ticket name of each ticket type
- The price for each ticket type
- The quantity available for each ticket type
- An end date when applicable. A dash means that no end date has been applied when creating the ticket type.
What is the difference between available spots and available quantity for event ticket types?
- Available spots are the number of total spots available for this event. This can be based on the number of mats, number of rooms, size of your studio, etc. Whatever the reason, once the available spots have been sold out, yogis will no longer be able to buy tickets for this event.
- Available quantity for each ticket type refers to the number of times this specific ticket type can be purchased. It is not abnormal for your ticket type available quantities to be higher than the number of spots available, as you cannot always know how your yogis will behave in their purchasing process.
For example: There are 15 spots available at the event above, and I have chosen to have 7 available Early Bird tickets, 15 Standard tickets, and 15 Late Bird tickets. Why?
Given that I have a set expiration date on my Early Bird tickets and that they are more affordable than the other two, I hope that my yogis will buy all 7. However, I cannot be sure this will be the case, and I still want to make sure that everyone can buy a ticket at all times.
I have therefore put 15 available standard tickets, in case all 15 spots are purchased as this ticket type, and 15 for the Late Bird, in case all 15 spots are purchased as this ticket type instead.
Very unlikely - but it's best to have enough for everyone than too few.
Rest assured: Once your maximum number of spots available has been filled, yogis will no longer be able to purchase any of the available ticket types and these will be labeled Sold out.
Which event ticket type will be shown first?
You can choose which event ticket type you would like to highlight by dragging it to the top of the list. You simply need to hover above the two lines on the left-hand side of your list and drag the ticket types in your order of preference.
How can I monitor my yogis' ticket type purchases for an event?
It's very easy to check how many tickets you've sold for each of your ticket types, alongside the number of spots still remaining for your event.
You simply need to follow these steps:
- Log in to your Momoyoga account
- Click on the Events tab in the top left-hand corner
- Select the event you wish to have insights for
- In the top right-hand corner of your event, click on the drop down arrow for Details
- Here, you will have an overview of Sold tickets for however many ticket types you created for this event
- Below, you will find the number of overall spots available for the event alongside the participants list as per usual.
Your yogis' purchased event ticket types will always appear in your Orders and Payments overview, as per usual. Here, you will see the name of the event and the name of the ticket type, eg: Full Moon Circle: Early Bird.
Good to know for event ticket types:
- There is no limit on the number of ticket types you can create. From one ticket type to 20, the sky is the limit. For your yogis however, a best practice is to create no more than four or five depending on your event. As the saying goes, less is more and sometimes too much choice can mean no choice at all!
- Event ticket types and our newly introduced Promo Code feature can be combined. Woohoo! 🎉
- It's always possible to delete one or multiple ticket types, or add a new ticket type half-way through your event sale. Just note that yogis having already purchased a deleted ticket type will not be refunded and will still have a spot for your event.
- Your yogis' purchased event ticket types will appear in your Orders and Payments overview, as per usual. Here, you will see the name of the event and the name of the ticket type, eg: Full Moon Circle: Early Bird.
